SIS help desk and support

Responsive PowerSchool SIS support for district staff.

PSUG.pro support is a district help-desk layer for PowerSchool SIS questions and operational issues. Staff ask, request work, or open a ticket in one place. Agents investigate first. Included PSUG.pro Support on paid plans helps resolve issues through agents, workflows, and experts when that is appropriate. PSUG.pro is not PowerSchool’s authorized support provider and does not replace a district’s PowerSchool Support entitlement.

Problems this service addresses

Staff do not know where to send SIS questions
How-to questions, errors, and configuration issues bounce between local IT, a regional IU, and PowerSchool Support.
Context is lost between replies
Screenshots, what was already tried, and which school is affected disappear when the conversation leaves email.
Official vendor support is the wrong first stop for many tickets
Local configuration, district procedure, and regional reporting practice often need SIS-aware triage before a PowerSchool case is opened.

Concrete deliverables

  • Web, email, and—when enabled—phone intake into one ticket record
  • AI answers on the Free plan within the published question limit
  • Included PSUG.pro Support investigation on paid plans
  • Help managing a PowerSchool Support escalation when that is the correct path
  • Clear identification of work that must be quoted as a professional-services project
  • A ticket history the district can review
District authorization
Public questions must stay free of student and staff PII. Connected SIS work requires district authorization. Support staff and agents see only what the district’s permissions and sanitization rules allow.
Role of agents
Agents search public PowerSchool knowledge, ask clarifying questions, draft steps, and organize the ticket. They flag uncertainty and do not present guesses as official PowerSchool guidance.
Role of authorized humans
Authorized people provide judgment, approval, and escalation to a vetted Pro, a regional partner, or PowerSchool Support. Substantial project work is scoped and priced before billable work begins.

Direct and regional-partner delivery

Districts can receive support directly from PSUG.pro. A configured regional partner can be the visible help-desk owner for assigned districts. Either way, PSUG.pro supplies the intake, ticket, and agent infrastructure.
