Overview

This Acceptable Use Policy ("Policy") governs your use of psug.pro. By using our Service, you agree to comply with this Policy. Violation of this Policy may result in suspension or termination of your account.

Prohibited Content

You may not submit, post, or share content that:

  • Contains PII: Includes personally identifiable information about students, staff, or any individuals (names, IDs, DOBs, addresses, SSNs, etc.)
  • Is illegal: Violates any applicable law or regulation
  • Is harmful: Contains malware, viruses, or malicious code
  • Is abusive: Harasses, threatens, or intimidates others
  • Is fraudulent: Misrepresents your identity or intentions
  • Infringes rights: Violates intellectual property or privacy rights
  • Is spam: Unsolicited promotional content or repetitive posts

Prohibited Activities

You may not:

  • Share your account credentials with others
  • Create multiple accounts to circumvent limits or bans
  • Use automated tools to access the Service without permission
  • Attempt to reverse engineer or extract data from the Service
  • Interfere with the Service's operation or security
  • Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation
  • Use the Service to compete with psug.pro
  • Resell or redistribute Service access without authorization

PII Requirements

Critical: You must never include personally identifiable information in your questions, posts, or any content submitted to the Service. This includes:

  • Student names, IDs, or identification numbers
  • Staff names or employee IDs
  • Dates of birth
  • Addresses (home, school, or mailing)
  • Phone numbers
  • Email addresses
  • Social Security Numbers
  • Medical or health information
  • Financial information
  • Any other information that could identify an individual

While our system automatically detects and redacts PII, you are responsible for ensuring you do not share it in the first place. Repeated violations may result in account suspension.

For Pro Users

If you are a Pro (expert responder), you must additionally:

  • Maintain confidentiality of all escalation content
  • Provide accurate, helpful responses
  • Respond within SLA timeframes when you accept escalations
  • Not contact users outside the platform
  • Report any PII you encounter to our team
  • Maintain professional conduct at all times

Reporting Violations

If you encounter content or behavior that violates this Policy, please report it immediately using our reporting tools or by contacting abuse@psug.pro. Include as much detail as possible.

Enforcement

We reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate action against violations, including:

  • Warning the user
  • Removing content
  • Temporarily suspending account access
  • Permanently terminating accounts
  • Reporting to law enforcement if required

Appeals

If you believe your account was suspended or terminated in error, you may appeal by contacting appeals@psug.pro within 30 days. Include your account information and a detailed explanation of why you believe the action was incorrect.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Policy on this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Policy.
