Set up a PSUG Workflow Result
A PSUG Workflow Result node is what makes a workflow show up on PSUG.pro. Connecting an environment is not enough by itself.
Sign in to PSUG.pro and open Workflows. Find on k-12.cloud opens a new tab. Sign in to k-12.cloud if asked — that account is separate from PSUG.pro — then pick an environment.
Return to PSUG.pro and confirm Connect this environment. That stays on this page and configures reporting on the environment. You do not type secrets or add a credential on the Result node.
Open a workflow in the connected environment. Search for PSUG Workflow Result — not PSUG Assistant, and not a PSUG.pro API credential.
Place the node at the end of the workflow. Skip any credential prompt on that node. After Connect, the environment already knows how to report.
Status: Success, Partial, Failed, or Needs Review.
Summary: a short sentence for the person checking results on PSUG.pro. Do not include student records or SIS payloads.
Warnings and Errors are optional short notes.
Leave Workflow ID blank. PSUG.pro uses the current workflow automatically.
Save the workflow. It should appear on PSUG.pro → Workflows.
After it runs, the latest summary shows there.
The Result node only reports what already happened. If it fails, earlier SIS work may already have succeeded.
Retry the Result node only. Do not rerun the whole workflow just because reporting failed.
Do not turn on Retry On Fail for the whole workflow. That can repeat SIS writes that already completed.
A failed report does not mean the student-data change failed. Check the earlier nodes if you need to know whether SIS work finished.
Do not add PSUG Workflow Control or type callback URLs or secrets on the Result node. Connect from PSUG.pro sets that up on the environment.
PSUG.pro API is only for PSUG Assistant. It will not report a workflow result.
